Schnuck Markets introduces initiative to support diverse-owned businesses

Schnucks Markets, Inc. is proud to announce the launch of SchnucksSpringboard, a business accelerator program designed to support diverse-owned businesses. This program is a partnership with the non-profit Mid-States Minority Supplier Development Council and offers education, resources, and access to local opportunities to help businesses succeed.

Interested business owners can apply for the program by visiting schnucks.com/springboard before May 12th. Those accepted into the program will have the chance to conduct in-store product trials at select Schnucks stores, receive $5,000 of equity-free funding, and participate in business development classes at Schnucks’ headquarters in St. Louis.

Schnucks has a long history of commitment to community support and diversity, equity, and inclusion. In 2020, they launched their Unity Is Power plan, which focused on supporting organizations promoting racial equity, such as the Urban League. For their efforts, Schnucks was honored with the Civic Leadership Award by ULSTL and recognized as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Diversity by Newsweek in 2024.
