Neighboring properties suffer damage following fire at local business

A fire in Flatwoods, Ky., caused significant damage to Tri-State Enterprise and Lawn Care near Argillite Road on Tuesday. The fire was felt by Jake Styes, a resident of the area, who described it as a mix of fear and relief upon returning home to see the aftermath.

Styes was at school when the fire broke out and only caught sight of the smoke from afar. However, he thanked first responders for their quick actions in preventing further damage and ensuring the safety of the neighborhood. He also expressed gratitude to them for saving his home and those of his neighbors.

The Flatwoods Fire Chief stated that investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the fire but believe it may have been accidental. Styes expressed relief that no one was injured in the incident, as everyone inside the building was able to evacuate safely. He also mentioned how grateful he is that his family and neighbors were unharmed.
