Lakers Comeback from 19-Point Deficit, Defeat Bucks in Double OT Thriller without LeBron James

On Tuesday, the Los Angeles Lakers pulled off an impressive double-overtime victory over the Milwaukee Bucks without their star player LeBron James. Anthony Davis and Austin Reaves led the team to a 128-124 win, overcoming a 19-point deficit in the fourth quarter to force overtime.

Davis had a standout game, recording a career-high 34 points, 23 rebounds, four blocks, two steals, and two assists in 52 minutes of play. Reaves also shone with a triple-double, contributing 29 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists. Both players played critical roles in leading the Lakers to victory. D’Angelo Russell also contributed with 29 points and 12 assists.

In the fourth quarter, Davis, Reaves and Russell scored all but two of the Lakers’ points, erasing a significant lead held by the Bucks. Despite Giannis Antetokounmpo’s struggles at the free-throw line hindering the Bucks as they took control in second overtime. Damian Lillard finished with just 27 points on tough shooting night from field and beyond arc. However it was Davis who made crucial stop on potential game winner from Lillard to secure victory for lakers improving their record to 6-4 this season without James.

The win marked the fourth in a row for Lakers bringing their record to (40-32) keeping them in ninth place in Western Conference just two games behind Phoenix Suns for eighth spot despite missing their star player. The team has shown resilience and talent proving they can compete against top teams in league without James on court.
